Malaikottai Vaaliban- Run out of Steam!

    A combination of 'known to be the best refined actor' in the state and a cut above director, evoked an expectation unparalleled, as everyone believed that they would raise the bar, as always the case...

    Ironically, the movie fell apart to call forth any interest, though the versatile actor with his screen presence did reasonably well.

One could evidently see the flaws in editing in the first fight seen itself and throughout, in an attempt to present Valiban as superhuman...

   In the storyline, some indigestable elements creeped in. One has to gulp, when Kalari veeran, who gave Vaaliban a run for money was killed by the cowardly main villain, just by a stab. In another instance, the entire group of soldires were bewildered to see Valiban unleashing his power, keeping their guns idle, to see him regain power, only to smash them at a later stage

  One can't be blamed for doubting  it's a bit dragging.Some dialogues invited mockery from audience. Facial expressions of some  suggested that they were more curious about when the movie was about to end than enjoying. 

   As said in the beginning, the expectations from the duo was such that anything ordinary wouldn't be acceptable, needless to say, no enthusiasm left for the second part either.
