A work with lot of insight and exploration...The book calls for a thorough reading..It questions many stereotypes..A tolerant reader would find it intriguing...

Starting from inherent contradictions in the holy books and the fading away of ancient gods with time, Dawkins establishes his atheist view with precision..backed by scientific evidence he proves his point..'Natural selection' of Darwin occupies a prominent place in the book to overthrow the popular perception of a divine creator..

Even an ardent believer will be bewildered to see the convincing interpretations doubting the very existence of God..

He rightly says about the impact of 'childhood indoctrination' an hindrance for unshackling of imprisoned religious belief injected from birth..

In the second part, expatiation on evolution may look as if he missed a trick  in an attempt to clarify too much but then that fit for the purpose to suffice his point that our so called belief and worship system a load of codswallop.

The book may well put you in a quandary especially  in  the present time when all sacred men and places are running for cover..

On the whole it would give some food for thought in  the minds of the reader of an outgrowing god.. undoubtedly, a cut above..

    A combination of 'known to be the best refined actor' in the state and a cut above director, evoked an expectation unparalleled, as everyone believed that they would raise the bar, as always the case...     Ironically, the movie fell apart to call forth any interest, though the versatile actor with his screen presence did reasonably well. One could evidently see the flaws in editing in the first fight seen itself and throughout, in an attempt to present Valiban as superhuman...    In the storyline, some indigestable elements creeped in. One has to gulp, when Kalari veeran, who gave Vaaliban a run for money was killed by the cowardly main villain, just by a stab. In another instance, the entire group of soldires were bewildered to see Valiban unleashing his power, keeping their guns idle, to see him regain power, only to smash them at a later stage   One can't be blamed for doubting  it's a bit dragging.Some dialogues invited mockery from audience. CAA- Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019.. as simple as that..   Let's think of a place affected by drought...People suffer for a  living(refugees from Bangladesh, pak, Afghanistan, Srilanka, Nepal, Bhutan..etc ) and are in search of safe drinking water ( or rather breathing space)..   They heard of a nearby  house (india) where there is a well with unfailing water supply...They queued up for water.The number increased day by day..The owner of the house had  a condition that they should fill in water in the pots provided by him..(an eligible document for NRC- National register for citizenship)..   Years went by ..People of this joint family started worrying that they may run short of water and culture of them would be ruined by the continuing  presence of outsiders ...Then they persuaded the head of the family,  to allow those who have been taking water from so and so date, need only to be permitted...(Assam accord 1985 and and the promise made in that for NRC to identify and deport f

Like,  Dislike or Something in between...  Much affected by media hype and quench for big movie experience in the wide screen, triggered to occupy slots in the first day itself. The anticipation was such that anything ordinary wouldn't quench the thirst...  The only enthusiasm in the first half an hour is to observe Pranav Mohanlal, to see if we have a superstar in the making, as a successor to his father...  Director Priyadarsan in a naive attempt to narrate the historical aspects in its accuracy, with hive of activity, overlooked the entertainment aspect altogether, which is very unlikely of him as he is well known for some of the all time hits...  Many of the fights scenes  left the audience in dilemma to what's happening as the darkness and speed of the reel were overwhelming...Even two songs played in short interlude posed as if they were superimposed and out of place.
